Thanks Steve

With all the talk of e-readers, Iliads, and e-books going on in the blogosphere, Steve Augarde, author of the wonderful Various trilogy, has managed to put his own spin on the subject of books and technology. Thanks to this link in his post, I’ve managed to spill coffee on my laptop – now put your tea or coffee down…
Splendid! Thanks to your warnings, I watched it before having my cup of coffee this morning…quite a funny start to the day!
Yeah, we would almost devise online tutorials like these on how to read books ! Hilarious, thanks for the smile :)
You’re welcome, Malcolm. It all rings just a bit too true with me. I’m the guy who once tried to unlock his car with the TV remote – and it’ll be some time before my kids let me forget it.
A couple of years ago, our car decided it didn’t like the look of me and refused to let me in. My remote and key didn’t convince it I wasn’t trouble, Vanessa’s remote and key couldn’t persuade it either. Standing beside the car doing my best Basil Fawlty impression, I would have thought that using a TV remote sounded perfectly reasonable, because, at the time, I was ready to try some percussive maintenance.
In the end, we didn’t keep the car much after the £500 bill for a new set of keys. You’re probably best making up your own moral to this story.
