Back in October, the Fidra Books team of Becky, John, Vanessa and myself won the Publishing Scotland pub quiz. As well as the glittering prizes, the prestige and glory, it is left to reigning champions to set the questions for the next quiz. After many hours of hard work thinking devilish questions to outwit and frustrate our fellow publishers, the pub quiz was finally held last night. In a nail bitting climax, the team from the Society of Authors in Scotland overcame the stern challenge of the Publishing Scotland team to become the next Kings and Queens of Trivia. Does this result actually tell us anything about the relative intelligence of authors and publishers?
Over the next couple of days I’ll post some of the questions we set, and you can find the answers after the jump (you’re only cheating yourself if you look). Let us know how you get on.
